- eARC Audio ExtractorThis HDMI eARC audio extractor is able to extract audio signals from TV ARC/eARC port and output them to four different audio ports: one HDMI 7.1 channel audio output (transmits audio signals only, not video images), one 5.1 channel optical output, one 3.5mm stereo, and one L/R RCA analog audio output. (Note: Please make sure your TV has an HDMI port labeled "ARC/eARC", otherwise this product will not be able to perform audio signal extraction.)
- Steps to Work1) Ensure your TV has an HDMI port labeled "ARC/eARC"; 2) Go to the TV menu settings, turn on CEC, then set the audio output to HDMI(ARC/eARC), and finally set the audio output format to PCM, LPCM, or Passthrough for optimal performance.
- HDMI eARC to Optical Audio AdapterThe HDMI(audio only) output interface of the HDMI eARC adapter supports up to HD 5.1 and HD 7.1 channel, and the optical spdif interface supports up to 5.1 channel. The maximum audio sampling rate supported is 24bit/192KHz.
- eARC to RCA/3.5mm AdapterWhen using the 3.5mm jack and R/L interface, please set the TV audio output to PCM/LPCM format. When the 5.1 indicator or HD5.1/HD7.1 indicator is on, the 3.5mm and R/L interfaces no longer transmit audio signals.
- eARC to HDMI Soundbar AdapterThe eARC adapters HDMI output port connects to a soundbar or amplifier, supporting up to 7.1 channel audio transmission. This port provides audio output only, with no video signal. Note: Soundbars with HDMI(ARC/eARC)-only input are not supported, eg, Sonos ARC, Beam are not supported.
- CEC Remote Volume ControlWhen sound system is connected to this eARC adapter 3.5mm and R/L RCA port, sound volume can be controlled through the TV remote control. If the sound system is connected to this eARC adapter HDMI or Optical SPDIF port, the TV remote control will not be able to control its volume. That is, CEC remote volume control is only valid for audio output devices with 3.5mm and R/L port.
