Adafruit Si5351A Clock Generator with STEMMA QT - 8 kHz to 160 MHz

This chip has a precise 25MHz crystal reference and internal PLL and dividers, so it produces almost any frequency, from <8kHz to 150MHz. The Si5351A clock generator is an I2C controller clock generator. It uses the built-in precision clock to control multiple PLLs and watch dividers with I2C instructions. By setting up the PLL and dividers, precise and arbitrary frequencies can be created. There are three independent outputs, and each can have a different frequency. Outputs are 3 Vpp, either via a breadboard-friendly header or for RF work an optional Edge Launch SMA connector for output 1. To get you going quickly, Adafruit spun a tailor-made circuit board in the STEMMA QT form factor, making it easy to connect. The STEMMA QT connectors on both sides are compatible with the SparkFun QwiicI2C connectors. This allows you to make solderless connections between your development board and the Si5351 or connect to a variety of other sensors and accessories with a compatible cable. Integrated 3.3V LDO and level switches mean it's ready for use with 3V or 5V power and logic. Si5351 Specifications: Produces up to 3 non-holistically connected frequencies from 8kHz to 160MHz I2C custom configuration. Accurate frequency synthesis at each output (0ppm error). Highly linear VCXO Low output period:100HP PP Configurable spectrum selectable at each output Operates with a low cost, fixed frequency crystal: 25 MHz on board Supports static phase offset Programmable rise and fall time control. Glitchless frequency changes. Excellent PSRR eliminates external power supply filtering. Very low power consumption. Adjustable output dela. PCIE Gen 1 compliant. Supports HCSL compatible swing Dimensions: 25.3 x 17.7 x 4.7 mm.
